Server on the Table
I spent most of last week tensed up about losing my venerable ATX-based hand-built system. I let freaking dust balls build up in the box so bad that I’m pretty sure I cooked the motherboard. So in the end—after going through the video card, the DVD playback card (which is now obsolete because of modern video cards) and a NIC card—I replaced the motherboard. I went from ATX to Micro-ATX. The picture at left does not really show how much smaller the Micro-ATX board is compared to the ATX board (in the background).
