Please Support the Beautiful Foundation for New Orleans Teen Girls
Dear friends and family,
I am sending you a personal plea for a $25 contribution to the Beautiful Foundation Inc. I am on the Board of Trustees for this Foundation. The organization offers opportunities for transformation for disenfranchised girls ages 12-17 in New Orleans, LA. The foundation provides youth development, empowerment and life skills training through afterschool and summer programs, forums and retreats.
Federal Community Development Block Grant money has been designated for the Foundation's program as part of the Youth Enhancement Series. Unfortunately, the bureaucratic process for receiving the grant money has been so long and today we still have not realized these funds. Meanwhile we are in desperate need for operating capitol to keep our Teen Spirit Center running through the end of the year. YOUR DONATION will qualify you for a drawing where you can win a wonderful grand prize as well as other gifts, just in time for the holidays (see below). The drawing will be held December 16. However, if you do not wish to be a part of the raffle, you may still make a donation to this important cause.
I know this is short notice so thank you for responding right away to my plea. I would not send you this request if my heart was not committed to the Foundation. I am grateful for your personal attention and consideration.
