Stuff Taken from My Gluttonous TODO List

The following table gleans a few items from my TODO list based on the assumption that one day I will actually go back in time a find this Blog entry and actually complete some (or all) of the tasks listed.

Yeah, right…

“[Dave Hill Photo](http://www.davehillphoto.com/)” The task here is to study the Adobe Flash interface design as a guide for building photo gallery sites. I might actually get back to this one.
“[Remember The Milk](http://www.rememberthemilk.com/)” The idea here is to experiment with a new productivity tool. Irony here abounds…
“[Alpine Messaging System](http://www.washington.edu/alpine/)” Linux free time not available to me: “Alpine is a fast, easy to use email client that is suitable for both the inexperienced email user as well as for the most demanding of power users. Alpine is based on the Pine® Message System, which was also developed at the University of Washington. Alpine can be learned by exploration and the use of context-sensitive help. The user experience is highly customizable through the use of the Alpine Setup command.”
“[Envisioning Information—Google Book Search](http://books.google.com/books?id=dBQmAAAACAAJ&dq=Edward+R+Tufte&hl=en&prev=http://www.google.com/search?q=edward+tufte&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:unofficial&sa=X&oi=print&ct=result&cd=2&cad=author-navigational&pgis=1)” This book does not look like it’s readable from Google.
“[PHP-GTK](http://gtk.php.net/)” More Linux-based playtime that is sorely lacking…
“[Make your own book with Blurb](http://www.blurb.com/home/1/)” Making paper and books is my first technical love… alas…
“[Microsoft Learning Manager—English Catalog, Free Products](http://learning.microsoft.com/Manager/Catalog.aspx?view=free)” This product may not actually be targeted to me…
“[bbPress](http://bbpress.org/)” Perhaps too much Matt-based overkill…
“[Sonicbids](http://www.sonicbids.com/)” This can go right next to my dusty, Garageband.com account…
“[LimeSurvey.org—The Leading Open Source Survey Tool](http://www.limesurvey.org/)” I’m probably not going to like something about this solution…
“[Apache Wicket](http://wicket.apache.org/)” Another Java-based promise: “With proper mark-up/logic separation, a POJO data model, and a refreshing lack of XML, Apache Wicket makes developing web-apps simple and enjoyable again. Swap the boilerplate, complex debugging and brittle code for powerful, reusable components written with plain Java and HTML.”
“[Enterprise Search from Microsoft](http://www.microsoft.com/enterprisesearch/serverproducts/searchserverexpress/try-1.aspx)” Is this a replacement/upgrade for Index Server? Does this replace/upgrade SharePoint crawling? Is this a rebranding of some Live Search product? Do I have time to find all this shit out?
“[3D Warehouse](http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse)” Let me get back to my other neglected 3D investments first…
“[AjaxView](http://research.microsoft.com/projects/ajaxview/)” So far no bits to download: “The goal of the Ajax View project is to improve developer’s visibility into and control over their web applications’ behaviors on end-user’s desktops.”
