“Hey there Friends and acquaintances, I am excited to be a part of a play in which I portray the historical icon, Hattie McDaniel, first African American to be nominated for and win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Mammy in Gone with the Wind. The play called Benches: Sketches of  the 1930’s It is two one acts, the other about Marian Anderson, famous African American opera singer.”
