African Americans are dying younger than any other ethnic group because of unhealthy lifestyles and diet. This reality so profoundly disturbed Lottie Perkins that she wrote this book to try to make a difference. As a registered nurse, and a certified wellness consultant, she has vast knowledge in the health field, and lives a holistic life of meditation, prayer, exercise, and healthy eating. Lottie shares her knowledge, insight, and personal experiences to help other African Americans make conscious lifestyle choices that will increase their quality of life and longevity.

What People are saying about “Eating To Die”…

“Lottie Perkins has given us internal power and insight on how improper food choices, social habits, internal conflicts, lack of self-control, preconditioned social behaviors, and racial disparity in adequate quality healthcare are killing the African-American community at an alarming rate.

This book is full of heartfelt, life-changing, and life-saving information that should be read and embraced in every African-American home. There is an obvious outcry for help as, ***“****My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” *(Hosea 4:6)”. Pamela Milligan-McGee, M.D., F.A.C.O.G

“This is a most effective book. It will appeal to persons who are most in need of Lottie’s insights and delightfully written suggestions for healthy living.” Dr. Marie Branch, R.N., M.A., DC

“The book* *‘Eating To Die’ is an easy-to-read resource for having a healthy life. In a culturally sensitive manner, it provides useful information and suggestions to African Americans on how to make significant lifestyle changes.” Clarice Pyles, R.N., B.S., M.S.
