SonghaySystem.com Upgraded to YUI Library
Back in early December (2006), “YUI Highlights” was released, replacing my handmade AJAX stuff and other JavaScript now considered ‘legacy’ code. This is a huge change—and a huge compliment to the YUI team at Yahoo! Inc. This is in spite of Yahoo! tolerating their beloved employee, the beer-burping barbarian, Dustin Diaz.
My YUI archive chronicles a relatively careful and tedious transition over to this third-party code base. So it is with much excitement to report that my company Web, SonghaySystem.com, is upgraded to YUI! The people at Yahoo! did something Netscape or Microsoft should have done years ago. But without a doubt the culture just was not there.
