My First Check from Google™

Google CheckLet your baby xylophones tinkle. Let your crayons scrawl. Bryan has his first ad-revenue check from Google™. “Black” History informs me that this is the beginning of the end (or, in the least, a dead end)—because the super powers that be are not thinking of enriching me. They will not just tilt the playing field. They will destroy the memory of the game from “our” minds. Black people innovated in the direct mail marketing. We’re gone. Black people innovated in the field of private, inter-city transportation service. Gone. Black people innovated in the illegal numbers running game—and now it’s legal state lotteries. Gone.

So it would be no surprise to find that the do-it-yourself relatively democratic revenue-generating features offered by Google™ will eventually be sold out to benefit a small cartel of gangster corporations, run by a small group of powerful and evil families—most of whom will share strong recessive-gene traits. Cringley had a guest on NerdTV that said something like the Internet’s promise was to make a large amount of money for large amount of people—but what is actually happening is that the Internet is making small amounts of money for a large amount of people—while a few corporations reap huge sums. This is traditional. This comes from a cultural heritage forged in poverty and a natural lack of resources. This makes greed “human nature” for the properly assimilated. Almost all technical innovations produced by this culture are based on this foundational poverty—beneath all that which we call the “wealth” of “developed” nations.

When you find that last paragraph somewhat shitty, jump over to “How Pay-Per-Click Is Killing the Traditional Publishing Industry” by Robert X. Cringely. His morsels taste great but are less filling for my kind of soul food. Tinkle. Tinkle, baby.
