Before We Talk about Racism, Let’s Talk about the Weather

I am sure that when you ask almost any person who understands this language, ‘What would you rather prefer: a vacation in a place with warm weather or a vacation in place with cold weather? ,’ most (who are not suspicious of the reasons behind asking the question) would prefer the place with warm weather.

So now, we can say that most people prefer warm weather. However, we might also say that most people are implicitly conditioned to associate vacationing with warm weather. And vacationing is associated with not getting “real work” done. What may be deeper is that most people believe that “real work” is done in cold climates. The “real work” is serious—so the implication is that it’s the snow that makes you serious.

What makes you so suspicious? I’m not taking about racism. I’m just making small talk about the weather. In fact, I take the trouble to define the word race in the rasx big lex’ here at kintespace.com. And, by the way, what do you think of outsourcing to India?
