Roland Poet X is an exclaimed poet and self-taught experimental filmmaker raised in Detroit, but located in Los Angeles since 1982. An original Black Panther since 16 who utilizes the multi-media for his innovative art. Black Up!

This installment here in the kinté space selects a few videos from Roland Poet X on YouTube.com. This work reminds the poet—especially the young poet—that writing comes from looking at the world with a conscious eye. Roland Poet X goes beyond his writing to exercise his vision.
